Meet Our Team

Mara Heiden is a lactation professional, birth doula, and photographer. She started her journey in birth and lactation three years ago. She graduated from University of California San Diego’s Lactation Consultant program, with the required education hours and hands-on lactation training. She is currently an IBCLC and a double-certified birth doula.

Her background is in infant and child development, and she holds a graduate degree in Elementary Education. She is also a sleep consultant, concentrating in biologically normal and attachment-based infant and toddler sleep. She is passionate about holistic birth, infant feeding, and documenting the beautiful process from birth to postpartum through photography. 

Mara spends her free time homeschooling her kids, traveling, and painting.
