Meet Our Team

June Griffin, RN, MSN, FNP-BC

June Griffin, RN, MSN, FNP-BC

June was born and raised on a small family farm in the Catskill Mountains of upstate NY.  Her family raised most of what they ate: from tomatoes, squash, and beans to beef, pork, and  fowl. Her parents both hunted and made sure that all four of their children learned how to hunt.  They all learned to drive tractors, cut wood, build fence, and pitch hay. They were also in church  whenever the doors were open. They learned how to work, love God, and care for their fellow  man by putting into practice “loving their neighbor as themselves.”

June went to the same school with the same kids from kindergarten through 12th grade.  After graduating from high school, June attended Broome Community College. A couple of year  later, she graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing in May and then married the love of her life, Jerry, in September of that same year. June and Jerry spent several years together traveling the country – courtesy of the US Army – and then settled back in the Catskills. June returned to college completing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Binghamton  University. The family decided to move to Colorado in the late 90’s in search of better  opportunities and more outdoor adventure. After homeschooling their three children and working  12-hour weekend night shifts, June felt God’s call to return to school yet again to help others even more. June graduated from Colorado University with a Master of Science degree in Nursing  with an emphasis in family practice. After 30 years of caring for women and children, she now  enjoys working with whole families – men, women, and children – since 2014. She believes in  partnering with people to help them and their families live as healthy as possible.

When June is not caring for others in the clinic, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors  with her husband of nearly 40 years hiking, camping, fly fishing, and hunting big game.
